Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev Explains ‘Twilight’ Differences



The CW recently interviewed the beautiful Nina Dobrev who plays one of the main characters, Elena in their new hit show “Vampire Diaries,”and she shared some knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes of the show,and also explained the differences between their show and other vampire driven franchises like “Twilight” and “True Blood.”

First, Nina explained how her character has absolutely no idea that Stefan is a vampire at first,and describes why Elena likes him. She says the vibe on set the set is really cool,and they have a lot of fun. Next, she explained that when Damon and Stefan go into vampire mode,you don’t want to go near them. There whole demeanor changes,and they get violent.

Then she explained that even though they’ve read the script and have an idea of where the show is going,they still get shocked at the final outcome,sometimes.\

Then she said the differences between Vampire Diaries and franchises like “Twilight” and “True Blood,” is that they’re living in the present. The characters know that the “Twilight” movie came out,and other recent to current events have happened.

In conclusion,she explained that the show is going to get even more exciting as it goes on. People will get bitten,die,disappear,and that’s just the beginning.
