Vanity Fair.... A Conversation With Peter Facinelli

will you please give me one word to describe each of the Cullen clan actors starting with Kellan Lutz?

Ok. [Laughs] Goofy!

Nikki Reed:

Complex.

Jackson Rathbone:

Artistic.

Kristen Stewart:

Sweet.

Elizabeth Reaser:

Awesome.

Ashley Greene:

Pixie-ish, she’s like a fairy—she’s so light on her feet. Bubbly, that’s the word.

Rob Pattinson:

Mmm, Rob. Rob’s a good one. It’s hard to narrow down to one. So many words come to mind! Brooding, tortured … but he’s a good kid. What’s the word for a solidly good guy?

Solid?

Solid. He is. He’s solid

Finally, what your word of the day?

Cold!

Taylor Lautner Isn't Sure He'd Go Shirtless For A Movie Again

MTV reports:

Taylor Lautner already has girls drooling over his beefy new body. But, the one person it makes feel uncomfortable, besides Kristin Davis, is Taylor himself. He hasn't been shy about showing off his muscles, but recently he's been pretty shy when it comes to talking about it, especially with everyone wanting to know about it in the weeks leading up to the release of "New Moon."

"I worked hard to get in shape for this role," Taylor said, reports Aceshowbiz.com. "My motivation was the movie and the fans, but I don't want to become known as just a body. If I had to choose, I would never take my shirt off again in a movie, but I guess that's not very realistic. I certainly won't be asking to do it, though."

The actor probably should rethink that considering there are many young women out there rooting for him ... to be shirtless more often in flicks. But, he does have some competition these days thanks to Robert Pattinson going around topless in "New Moon" as well.

"I don't know [who would win]. Rob, he's getting some muscle," he explained about competing against Rob in a shirt-off. "There's some good competition… No, he definitely doesn't need any pointers at all. He's got it covered."

'New Moon' EXCLUSIVE New Photo: Kristen Stewart Takes Direction From Chris Weitz

"Wow am I glad we were able to shoot there," director Chris Weitz admitted of the European location to MTV News. "We went to about 12 different hill top towns in Tuscany which was both delightful and exhausting because it had to be done relatively quickly. Montepulciano had the most symmetrical main square that I could find so that was the winner for that reason."

Jackson Rathbone Talks About His Eclipse Scenes – Jasper’s Flashbacks

MTV has a new interview with Eclipse super hottie Vampire Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale). In the interview Jackson discusses the flashback scenes that involve his character, Jasper, while explaining his story to Bella -

“I got to go back into my old roots, got to ride some horses again, which was nice. Got to put these riding boots to use, which is good,” Rathbone said, motioning to his boots. “I actually can ride a horse.”

In “Eclipse,” Jasper tells Bella (Kristen Stewart) about his life before he met Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli). Unlike Edward (Robert Pattinson), Rosalie (Nikki Reed), Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) and Emmett (Kellan Lutz), both Jasper and Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene) were transformed into vampires before they met Carlisle. Jasper plays a large role in the third installment of the series because he is the only vampire among them who knows how to combat the newborn vampire army Victoria (now played by Bryce Dallas Howard) is building.

Jasper’s backstory, which takes place during the Civil War, will be told through flashbacks, Rathbone confirmed. Though the explanation of Jasper’s history takes up a good portion of the novel, he hinted that the film version would be shorter.

“It was just really fantastic to get to delve in there and to get to don all the Civil War regalia and whatnot. That was a pleasure,” he said. “I had to wear this wool suit of a major, cavalry major. “I got the big hat and everything. Hop off the horse, bow to these ladies, and then I get eaten. And then I get turned!”

There will also be flashbacks of Jasper training newborn vampires while he’s still “a bad dude, a bad vampire,” Rathbone said. He added that training from another film, “The Last Airbender,” including wrestling, hand-to-hand combat and weapon play, was useful since there wasn’t much time to prepare for the fight scenes in “Eclipse.” But Rathbone was quick to clarify none of the vampires’ combat scenes would be martial art-y.

Rathbone said Jasper will tell Bella his story after a training sequence where he helps the Cullens prepare for the newborn army that’s approaching.

“It’s actually the first time Bella and Jasper interact that’s longer than one sentence, or me attacking her,” Rathbone said, laughing. “Kristen and I kept saying it was really nice to get to work together because we had never had a chance to really, kind of, like, get into some dialogue.”

The quality actually sucks but you get a good 3 seconds of Kristen in a hoodie drees (I think), rocking her mullet and her bare legs. Rob dressed up all fancy-like so I'm guessing this was on set. And Taylor off to the side where you can only really see his shoulder

Kellan Lutz on the Cover of Doggie Aficionado!

Who would’ve thought our “monkey man” would be a little dog lover! In this too cute for words article, Kellan speaks wholeheartedly about meeting his beloved dog Kola, for the first time at the shelter:

“She looked me in the eyes, bowed and slowly and softly licked my open hand. As I pet this beautiful dog I realized how soft her multi-colored coat was, and felt her desperation for a real home. Our connection was so strong that it was like fate bringing us together. I knew she was the one.”

Twilight Saga Eclipse Wrap Party at Vancouver Aquarium in Stanley Park

-----------------------------------------------------

Malicious Mandy reports:

The Twilight Saga Eclipse Wrap Party was held at the Vancouver Aquarium last night for the cast & crew who have been working hard to create the film over the past several weeks

Since even before the first day of shooting on August 17, this group of cast & crew have been preparing for the creation of Twilight Saga Eclipse and although they only have a few days left of filming left, months of post-production and then promotion remain.

Let's face it, these people deserved a party.

The Vancouver Aquarium was the perfect spot. It is a perfect mix of elegence, intrigure and local Vancouver Pazazz.

I have been to a few soirée's there myself and they do not disappoint. There are multiple rooms available, I would assume they used most of the indoor areas for their party. My favourite spot is the large room that has an entire wall of windows looking into the beluga whale tank.... it is truly magical.

Although I do not know exactly what they dined on, the Vancouver Aquarium's Receptipion Menu features both hot and cold appetizers, Sushi Stations, Carving Tables and delictable desserts as well as full plated and buffet dinners. There were multiple open bars set up and the guests surely enjoyed this fantastic party

It is reported that about 500 people attended the party that begun about 8pm. The party consisted of mostly crew and each person invited was able to bring one guest, although all were instructed to not bring cameras to the event for respect to the cast. Since many of the cast have wrapped and left Vancouver, only a few of the remaining cast were in attendance.

At about 10pm Xavier Samuel was seen dressed up and leaving the location he is staying at. He returned a few minutes later and then left once more. Robert Pattinson is reported to have arrived to the party around the same time and stayed for about an hour.

I was not there so I can not confirm who was there or for how long and many reports coming in are not neccessarily reliable sources. However, I do know David Slade was there and twitpic'd this Crab photo along with many people involved in the creation of Twilight Saga Eclipse.

It is amazing having witnessed the process of both Twilight Saga New Moon and now Twilight Saga Eclipse happening in my own city. I have had some amazing adventures and experiences and met some fantastic people that I will never forget. With the uncertainty of where and when filming of Breaking Dawn will take place, I can honestly say, I am simply thrilled to have been around to witness New Moon and Eclipse.
