Gossip Cop busts Breaking Dawn film rumors
There have been lots of questions about “Breaking Dawn,” including when will production start, where will it be shot, who will be cast as the daughter of Robert Pattinson’s Edward and Kristen Stewart’s Bella, and who will direct the fourth “Twilight” film?
With all the enthusiasm for the release of “New Moon” — just a little more than a month away — as well as the tremendous interest in the filming of “Eclipse,” “Breaking Dawn” should seem a no-brainer.
However, despite reports that “Breaking Dawn” has been greenlit and production will begin in September 2010, Gossip Cop can report exclusively that, as of now, nothing is official.
A rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “The film has not been greenlit – and thus no decisions about the film’s shooting location, start date, the director, etc… have been made.”
Gossip Cop will update you when there are more concrete details.

'New Moon’ Premiere Survival Guide
You have November 20 circled on your calendar. You’ve read all the Twilight blogs. You’ve watched the trailers a bazillion times. But, still, you know that come New Moon premiere night, it’s gonna be wolf-eat-wolf out there!
and here is what they had to say
To make sure you have the ultimate Twi-experience (without getting torn apart), we came up with this handy step-by-step guide on how to prepare for the big day, which is just over a month away!
1. Get advance tickets! This is more for peace of mind. You don’t want to be left out on the cold when every showing is sold out, do you? There are several sites you can go to NOW to get tix to screenings on November 20, including: movietickets.com, fandango.com and AMC Theaters. If they don’t have them now, keep checking back on all three sites closer to the premiere date for screenings in your area. You’ll probs need your parents’ credit card, so start sucking up to them!
2. Have Your Premiere Team In Place! Um, hello? You don’t want to get stuck sitting in the front row, do you? (”Hey, I can see up RPattz’s nose!”) Make sure you’ve lined up which of your besties is going with you and what everyone’s role is — seat saver, ticket retriever, candy getter, bathroom scouter, etc.! You’ll probably need at least 4 peeps, but if you have less, divide up the duties. This is like strategizing for battle, only more intense!
3. Choose your clothes now! Better to get this out of the way then to hold everyone up while you apply glitter to your entire body in an effort at getting that Cullen effect. And, no, you don’t HAVE to dress up like a character, but it’s a good convo starter when you’re waiting in line. Maybe you’ll meet an Edward lookalike when you’re dressed as Bella!
4. Tune out as much as possible! Yes, you know how this one’s gonna end, if you’ve read the book. But you won’t know HOW director Chris Weitz put all the pieces in place. So try to stay as spoiler-free about the movie as possible to maximize the Taylor shirtless viewing pleasure. The New Moon Illustrated Companion just came out, which has lots of behind-the-scenes info. Think you can avoid reading it until after November 20? It’s called willpower, people!
5A. Drink lots of tea with honey! Why, you ask? Well, you’re going to want to keep those pipes fresh and healthy, because you may be doing lots of screaming once you’re sitting in that theater and the lights go down! But if you’re not a screamer, you may want to consider…
5B. Buy earplugs! Telling people to “shhhh!!!” during the important parts? Not gonna work. That’s why you may need one of these special filtered earplugs, which blocks out ambient noise (annoying girl next to you losing her mind during any Rob scene) while making sure you can still hear what’s happening onscreen. Sure, they’re a little more expensive than cotton balls, but your eardrums will thank you!
As we get closer to the big day, we have more tips and tricks. But for now, start preppin’ your New Moon plan!

Twilight star wants role to sink teeth into

Robert Pattinson is "annoyed" by the parts he is offered.
The 23-year-old star – who shot to fame playing vampire Edward Cullen in Twilight - claims he is rarely given roles which test his acting abilities.
The star complained: “Annoyingly, there are so few parts I feel I can add anything to, or that I want to do. Acting is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life.
"I don't want to be an actor for the sake of it. I don't find any particular pleasure in being an attention-seeker."
Robert admits he is intimidated by his newfound fame, insisting he thought the film adaptation of Stephanie Meyer's vampire drama would be "something really small".
He added to AnOther Man magazine: "It's strange because even though the figures show that the books were successful and sold millions of copies, you couldn't even buy them in London.
"Hardly anyone I knew had read them.
"I had no idea at all. I'd seen my co-star Kristen Stewart in Into the Wild and some of the director Catherine Hardwicke's other films, and that's all I thought it was, something really small.”

Interview with a vampire

"To be honest, I still don't really understand what's going on," he says. "Like yesterday, I was having lunch down the road. We were in this place for a couple of hours and suddenly there was like 400 people outside on the street. It was just so nuts and it's like that all the time now."
"After Harry Potter I could have done a lot more teen movies," he says. Instead he starred as a young Salvador Dali who has a bromance with poet Federico Garcia Lorca in this year's Little Ashes.
Before Twilight, Pattinson was on the verge of quitting the acting game in favour of music. "With acting, a lot of the time you're doing scenes you don't really relate to and you don't really know why you're being cast half the time," he laughs.
The Twilight Saga: New Moon opens on November 19.
He's clearly unnerved by the run-in.
Spoilers From New Moon Illustrated Companion

***SPOILER ALERT!!***
The New Moon Illustrated Companion not only has over 95 pictures but provides some interesting facts about the movie including some spoilers.
If you want to read ahead there is more after the break or just look away now and pretend you didn’t see this post….just scroll up to the top and look at Emily, Jared and Embry and those the muffins
**While filming the breakup scene in the forest Rob and Kristen were being swarmed by mosquitos.
**When Melissa Rosenberg wrote the Twilight screenplay she “tried to keep the fan base out of (her) head, but (she) couldn’t avoid it by the time of New Moon.”
**She gave the men in Port Angeles motorcycles to make it a more “significant moment” and because motorcycles will become “an important part of her relationship with Jacob”.
**Taylor began working out immediatly after he was done filming Twilight because he knew of the transformation his character would go through. He was able to show the producer’s that he was visual able to represent the changed Jacob.
**In all the “vision” sequences Edward is wearing the same outfit he does when he said “goodbye” to Bella because that is the last memory she holds of him.
**Even the cameras used and their movements are done to show the relationship between the characters.
**They scouted many locations for the Cullen house, but found one that “was comparable enough with the house in Portland.”
**The Cullen house used for Twilight was “a very specific house, and the only way out of that puzzle for us was to put portions of the story of New Moon in other parts of the house”.
**The sequence for the birthday partyl “Edward relates the history of the Volturi to Bella, she becomes wounded in the hand, and Edward faces off against Jasper.”
**Rob quote: “The birthday scene at the Cullen house is like the ideal birthday party. The house is beautifully decorated and everyone is happy. Edward is looking at Bella and thinking that she can become part of his family and his life–that maybe this can work out the way he wants it to.”
**They used the Blue Ray DVD of Twilight to help them with the age, color, texture and features of Bella’s house and room.
**They used the Twilight Illustrated Companion for help finding Bella’s truck.
***OK MAJOR VISUAL SPOILER HERE:***
One special challenge for the production team was how to convey Bella’s depression once Edward departs. In the books..the month pages do it. (October, November, December, January) In the film the passage of time is represented with visual effects. Bella sits in her chair in the bedroom and a camera circles around here while the seasons change outside her window.
**Another shot manipulation, instead of Bella running to her truck and driving home after seeing the wolves in the meadow, she runs out of the woods and tells Charlie immediatly that she saw them. Changes made to make the scene more efficient.
**The dreamcatcher stirs up emotions in all the major characters: Jacob says it will catch bad dreams. Edward is irritated that his rival gave Bella an intimate gift, and Charlie regrets that it stops working.
**Film Editor Peter Lambert edited a portion of the film during his daily commute. This may be the first major motion picture in which the bigest protion of the first assembly of the film was edited in the backseat of a car.
**As a sign that Bella is commited to Edward her clothes are linked to his color wise. After he leaves she doesn’t pay much attention to her appearance.
**They wanted Jacob’s house to be “like a stepping stone into the forest world”. So it’s further from the heart of the reservation.
**Emily and Sam’s house is deeper in the forest, more seperate from regular life.
**art director Cathrerine Ircha helped make sure the prodcutions maintained “fan friendly continutiy”. She kept an eye on fan sites and blogs .
**when they are rebuilding the bikes there is a montage of scenes.
